• This is the default page of the site http://cern.ch/project-madwindows , a Web site created on 5 April 2004 to replace the links to the Windows versions of MAD-8 and MAD-X that were previously available from the old version of the MAD home page.   The move was necessary after a change in ownership of the MAD home page. The earlier functionality has been reproduced; improvements will be made in due course.
• Windows versions are for the 32-bit Windows platform (Windows 95 through to Windows XP).
